Leaky Magnum boots

I have had a pair of magnum boots for about 3 months, although i have found them to be quite comfortable, they have already started to let in water,told manager who said order another pair in case that was just a bad pair, so phoned uniform ordered magnum boots that the manager had to authorise seeing my last pair had only lasted 3 months, i have been on leave last week, so when i went in today asked around has any uniform arrived for me,answer no, phoned uniform who told me it had been sent out, i asked where it had been sent to as my office say they have not received any uniform,they told me some random office that i have never even heard of,i told them that i have never worked at that office and never heard of it, now they say they must be re ordered and authorised again by a manager. What a bunch of tossers we work for. So i have to wait at least another week before i get some footwear i can wear in the wet rant over have a nice day people.

Sounds about right

On the whole ive found uniform quite good and things normally turn up if its in stock. Good job you chased it up otherwise you would be waiting forever and a day.

Other than the terrible grip in the wet i find the Mag shoes good at keeping the wet out.

I've never had a pair of Magnum's that lasted longer than four months. Whilst they're quick to break in, it's a constant hassle arguing with the order line or trying to get your manager to put an order in for you. I switched to the Doc Martens three months ago, but even on them the tread is disappearing already (I really don't want to have to break in another pair so soon). Quality footwear

i dont walk across customers grass as a rule.
except where im on good terms/ok of the the customer
its generaly accepted that walking on grass is easier on the joints than tarmac
and where ive dead walking i try to walk on grass where i can
not a problem in the dry weather!
every little helps if my joints are going to last....

The Cat trainers and boots aren't water proof and neither are the Magnum shoes I am running out of dry foot wear thanks to all this rain and inadequate "uniform".
Does any one know what the most waterproof boots/shoes are as i need to buy some!

Non regulation footwear anyway, just stick to the RM ones. Try to change your socks of they get wet and dry out your shoes when they are wet.
