Day Off When Working A Saturday

Please give me advice!! would the bank holiday be my rotating day off for this week as i work a Saturday and get a day off the following week. My DOM advised with having Monday off i'm not entitled to my day off. Is this correct? Only been in the job for a few months and this to me seems incorrect. Any advice would be appreciated. :)

Are you full time on a 5 day week?

OP is an "Angardie" they don't have the same rights as we do :sad: (Which is why I hate workfare/Angard and any other "Scam" that employers can use)

As fae as I know Angard casuals do not get paid for Bank Holidays or credited them. Their entitlement to bank holidays and minimum statutory annual leave is all worked out on an accrual basis and shows up on their pay statement as hours holidays earned.

Not 100% certain on this though.

Correct. I was speaking to someone who works for Shamgard last week and he said he does'nt get paid for the B/H.
