RM pay final offer & modernisation agreement

Post by piranha »

I have just got a copy RM's 'statement' from my local CWU branch.
The union has not agreed to any of it. Some of the points in this offer
are bloody unbeleivable, Efficient Summer Scheduling, Flexible Working,
Functional Flexibility & Attendances, ESOS, D2D, Pensions, I don't agree
with any of it.

What the hell are the union doing?! We need to get all out NOW...
I mean theyve been in talks for 4 weeks+ and this is what RM
have come up with? What exactly were they talking about?

summer

Post by coppertop »

We have had a section in our office try out the new pegasas delivery , it has turned into a right fiasco yet the line dum was telling the big dum that it was working well and no need for any of them to cut off, this being a bit of a joke as they had to get 10 posties in on sunday to finnish the cut off's and the job's that they could not cover. So they still want summer lapsing can't wiat myself cos I will not be staying out after my time you could not trust RM to give you the time back that you had banked it is a great way for RM to make even more savings off our backs without paying overtime

couldnt agree more mate i just got a copy of royal mails full proposals today after being kept in the dark for weeks with rumours. it makes some dismal reading ir framework as it is to vanish, no cut offs in busy days, covering dutys when some one off sick or has booked a loose day late, banking hours on quiet days to use on the busier days. the list goes on and on, theres no way this can be agreed too if the union accept this and put it to the membership we must give a clear message of NO in the vote. id be surprised if the strike breakers dont even agree to walk out if theres a strike over this outragous proposal which if allowed to sneak in is basically going to give the individual and the union no power at all and we will all be at the mercy of the dim to bully us around covering duties left right and centre on top of our own at the drop of a hat.

We can do nothing, but fight this. There are only so much fruit picking jobs in Britain, and you need to be totally unfamiliar with the English
language to be able to get a career in it! :Very Happy

gruesome twosome

Post by mallyjames1 »

leighton and crozier need to go now and manage some football club thats needs to go to the dogs;sorry leightons been there.they have no interest in royal mail, the workforce or the public.only their ego,s.lets get a petition online and send it to the government.p.s. if we had worked to rule in our office(which we stressed we wanted to do)the place would have ground to a halt in 2 days and nobody would have lost £60 per strike day.if 100000 people strike on one day ,the gruesome twosome are saving 6million quid for that one day.
