Bank Holiday rest days !!!!

Bank Holiday rest days !!!!

Am I right there are 3 options regarding rest day fallong on a bank holiday ?
1. Day in lieu added to annual leave
2. Extra day off in same week
3. Paid hours as overtime

Where can I find this in any agreement please ?

Not heard option 2 or 3 before, just presumed its option 1. Suppose option 2 would work with option 1 if you took the lieu day in the same week as the bank holiday.

I used to work in mail centre day off same week is called stand down but it was always the following day Monday day off you get Tuesday off too.

In our office we work Tuesday - Saturday so when a Bank Holiday falls on a Monday we come back to work on the Wednesday. :dance :dance

options are on you ot docket option A or B, one is bank holiday rate and no day in lieu, other is normal ot rate and day in lieu

well at least a 1/3rd - which seems a little dangerous.

Dangerous not in H&S terms but proving that you can cope with only 2/3 of current staff on a busy day. :nervous :nervous
