so guys got a formal fact finding interview on Friday about apparently not ringing in on wedensday to say i was sick, they said they had tried to ring me multiple times which is a lie, also i have spoken to my phone provider ive got proof that i did ring on wedensday eg time of call duration and also that i didnt recive a call on wedensday from a blocked or withheld number so there all lies just shows that they will stop at no lenths to make you life s**t so now that i have proof what would be the best way of going about it, e.g turning the tables?

keep all your gems of info to yourself until they are worth the most, let the c*nts dig themselves as deep as they can.
Get it all on tape if you can as to who phoned you and when so they have no wriggle room as to who did what.

the reason i put this is because on the Thursday i received a letter stating they had tried to contact me with no success and my wages has been stopped so i came home today to a whopping wage of £17 not bad eh?!

well they can only stop your pay from the time you went sick, and not informed them, not the whole week for example

Get your area rep involved.
He/she will be able to get your pay re-instated.
Keep the rest to yourself for the time being.
Do not play games with them,do not try to score points,make them look like an arse or seek revenge.
If you are ever in the position of the higher ground with management always wait until they make their move.
They are slow witted and easily confused but when attacked they close ranks quickly and are at their most dangerous in retreat.
Be careful.

Yes my point precisely keith this is the 3 time my wages has been messed with in 6 weeks(still waiting) still not been paid properly and fishtank the rep has lost it his mind gone to busy getting done on time rushing about ive been waiting to talk to him before tomorrow all i got off him is "i have to get out"!!! so basically i don't even know if hes going to be in the meeting tomorrow if not im on my own but i want the outcome to be some sort of apology and the issues with my wages to be raised surely its borderline harrasment? im also going along the lines of the agreement with the conduct code page 4 it says they have to interview me about the issue raised no later than two days i got the interview yesterday and the offence was last Wedensday dont really know if that will help but ready to argue toss

Oral, DO NOT under any circumstances go into a meeting without either a cwu rep or a work colleague. Make sure the meeting is minuted and that all parties sign to validate the points written down on both sides of the argument. Stay calm, respond in a dignified manner and let them throw a wobbly, which on most occasions they do as they cannot bare to lose the upperhand. Good luck

Having being through the process myself. Get yourself a dictaphone £20 - £30 and tell them that you wish to record the interview to have a true and accurate record of what was discussed and for you own notes,l just make sure you get their permission to do so, and if they refuse tell them that you will be writing down everything that is said word for word. It will make the interview a lot longer and it's a pain for you, but it's better for you in the long run as they will make things up and deny what was said.

Cheers for the advice guys, after everything the union rep really worked wonders today pay reinstated all charges dropped and get this best of all an apology in writing dont know what will happen to the manager that lied probably a slap on the wrist
