Could RM management answer questions in these forums?

It's ok all of us moaning on here about every aspect of the very service we are giving for our employers, and there are a lot of problems we are having in doing our tasks. But my question is why can't Moya Greene and other top executives come on this website and answer back to us?
Today's courier just shows that everything is currently hunky dory and what a great employer rm is to work for, i'm sorry but this courier now makes me ill, nothing about the failing revisions, where the money is being lost, what our 800 colleague shares are worth ,no questions pages anymore etc.
I should think there will be managers and executives registered and lurking but can they make themselves known and give us some answers to our problems?
p.s should I send this message to Moya Greene to get her to sign up?

This is an unofficial site and you cannot gain access via a RM computer as it is blocked.

RM like to control how information goes to and from it's employees and any medium that allows large groups of employees to share their ideas and thoughts is not really in their interest. There are subjects that need to be debated and whilst this site is an excellent means of doing so and is, in my opinion very positive, there is virtually no prospect of a senior manager chipping in with his 10p worth.

If a thread has valued input, far better to summarise it and send to justsayit@royamail.com and copy hnutley@cwu.org in .

Interesting thought you have there, I've come at the same issue from a different angle. Why the feck does RMC have so many questions about procedure, rules, contracts, employment, duties, etc, etc? Shouldn't a competent employer be providing staff with answers to questions and, yes, I'm actually going to say it, proactively giving employees information and training before questions arise. I know it sounds a little bit like how a reasonable company might run but...

There have been senior RM and CWU people on this site, there have also been a number of other managers who do come in and answer certain questions but because this is an unofficial site you're never going to get them coming here in an official capacity to answer questions or explain situations.

Sadly the management and CWU are only concerned with the numbers.
ie, management's concern is how few people can we force this daily load through and how little can we reward their valiant efforts.
Meantime the Laurel and Hardy Union's concern is how many of us mugs will contribute to their jackpot salaries.

For everything that goes wrong, RM have an answer and every problem, they have NO SOLUTION.

Perhaps the best advice I would give any postie is be selfish, look after your own welfare as top priority. Sorry, that sounds awful, but I honestly believe it.

Similar sites including CWU sites have failed because attempts were made to direct the site towards a certain position.
If an official RM site was created or even if RM senior management were sanctioned to come on here it would end the same way because the company line must be followed,difficult questions would be ignored and official "posts" would read like the Courier.

Absolutely right Fish, yet again. Royal Mail do have solutions. They are well versed in manipulating the staff to the extent that their can be no mass revolt to the changes or perceived changes that they are controlling, and in which they have a clear picture of what they are aiming for and what they will eventually attain. By purchasing the control of the cwu heirarchy and using the cwu to dampen any chance of revolt, they have placed a stranglehold over any chance of reasonable future terms and conditions of employment or any change to employer/employee relations which a fully unbiased workers union might have a chance of achieving.

managers ! what a joke,they have to ask their dsm's if they want to go to the toilet.my children could do a better job then the managers we have had.we are now on our 4 manager in just over 1 year.if you pressure them then snap,they all know what RM is doing is totally wrong.

Brainwashed and zombified i'm afraid, the lot of 'em , just work to your time and cut off. They have to sort the problem somehow , or they'll explode.
