Radio in you office?

It was invented over 100 years ago and has grown pretty popular but all the offices i've worked in have a pretty poor radio in the background if it is even on at all!
All we ask is for a clear signal like DAB quietly on in the background, with the local station on so we know what's going on with the traffic, weather and news etc. I think it raises morale and makes us miserable when it's not on. Come on rm buy some dabs for us all. Anyone else's office got a poor radio or music system ?? And I expect a good reception from you all !

We've got a radio/cd system. It's usually on in the background and goes un-noticed most of the time.

Although, the tuner and the volume control are in different offices at either end of the building. Royal Mail thinking, I suppose.

We had DAB in our office. Reception was terrible; you really need an external aerial.

I don't mind Radio 2,but local radio is dire too many silly adverts and Dave double deck wannabee DJ's

Staff at the MPU where I did some work were allowed the stereo during the night but it had to be turned off before the delivery staff arrived in the morning.

Just be grateful you don't have to listen to Chris Moyles it's bordering on mental torture. There again there is nothing in his show that distracts me from prepping. No good songs or interesting talk, just none stop waffle.

Oddly that's the same in our office

We have what was a state of the art CD/Radio/Intercom system when we had the fools gold money. If it is too loud when I walk in I turn it off at the mains - I hate loud music, or music of any kind in fact.

My friend works at Marconi(where radio was invented) and we have a DAB radio put on a dodgy station!!

DAB reception seems to be improved since the digital TV switchover, possibly DAB and digital tv might share the same transmitters
