My office has a good local rep and he tries his hardest for his members but I feel let down by higher up in cwu. They say they understand Royal Mail needs to change and want to help work with R.M to move forward but they don't seem to care about it's members, the ones who pay their money every week. Do they think we want to work till 3pm on saturdays? do they think we want to be out delivery for 4-5 hours a day? A lot of people have children to collect from school or to take care of and now with these new delivery methods coming in it makes child care issues a problem because of later finsh times.
