Hello,

If you get physically pushed by your manager and told to get a move on, what should you do? I was returning from a briefing before going out on delivery. I had asked a question she didn't like, which a few people laughed at.

When I got back after completing my round, she was waiting for me and ordered me into the office. There was no-one around and I was very worried, so I fiddled with my phone and pushed the record button as we went in to the office.

In there, threats were made and I was sworn at and called names.

A couple of times before she had questioned me aggressively in front of others, so I put in a B&H claim.

The case went nowhere - except they said she should have been calmer when talking to me in public.

I didn't even get re-interviewed after she denied everything I said and the conclusion didn't mention the threats etc in the office. They said I was lying, but didn't take any action against me, just tried to sweep it under the mat.

I now know not to ask questions at WTL.

Absolutely DON'T give up. Get the Union involved, keep all your evidence and put a grievance in against the s**t of a manager involved.

So much for the "new relationship" excersise in industrial relations.

I would definitely place another b&H case against her. Get the area rep involved and provide him with the recorded evidence. Don,t let this bitch get away with it this time. Also remember next time to refuse to have any private conversation with her without some form of accompiament
