stage warnings

WHEN WHEN WHEN are the union going to sort out the stage warning procedure theres a manager in our office that issues them regardless of anything said in the stage interview any accident on duty is the posties fault. if your doctor says unfit to work due to your injuries he knows better than doctors and says in his opinion you could work so again will issue the stage. takes no notice whatsoever of what is said in your interview knowing there is f**k all you can do about it due to no appeal , work related stress is no reason not to issue a stage warning so again issue issue issue that seems to be the motto and what are the union doing about these managers answer f**k all so much for looking after our members.

I've been in the same position as you, triggered a Stage for an AOD then triggered another one because I had an op because of the AOD. Both stages issued. I know its disgusting treatment by management and the procedure does say 'an AOD should normally be discounted' but that very rarely happens. This subject was bought up at the conference and apparently HQ are working on it, but we all know its not going to happen anytime soon. Lets just hope it does happen

Don't worry it's all in hand, the Postal Forum is going to sort this out and any other issues that have been festering for the last 5 years AND it is going to be legally binding....................yes I know!
