That one implies what a good pay deal we are being offered and completely ignores the conditions.

-Yes !poor culture , badly managed and organised and the top down method which most businesses have rejected with it's dated command and control style ;certainly hasn't made things better.
My experience is you tend to get the worst of the old & new cultures .
The irony is that a lot of old hands on both sides find it to be a dumb culture that's easy to play.
