Annual Employee Survey .... dodgy ??

In our office we have all been given these but none of the big envelopes include the envelope to return the completed survey to. It clearly states on the paperwork that one is included, but it isnt...

When these were handed out the manager has told us to hand them back to a guy who works in our office all day and he will deal with them..

It sounds dodgy to me, what do you think ?

completed mine last night and there was an envelope so it would seem that yours have been taken out of the BIG white envelope it came in.

Received ours and been told that L/M will collect them all once completed as Royal Mail will be sending them to Mori by special delivery. Told to seal them and bring them back to the office. Mine is going in the post direct.

Don't do them,demand an envelope...

Twas thoroughly peed off as to management telling us to return the surveys in their sealed pre paid return envelopes.

So I contacted Ipsos-MORI (Marc Sowik) and asked basically for what reason do you think we are being told by Royal Mail and their management teams to upon completion of these suveys and after having put them into a sealed pre paid return envelope to hand them back to them. Why as employees can't we just post them back via a normal post box.

The answer back was:
It is our preference for the surveys to be sent back in bulk by managers as this makes it easier to track the returns of the surveys – and hopefully means we get them back a bit quicker too in order to process them. However if employees wish they can send them back separately using the pre-paid envelope instead, that is completely fine – it’s just not our primary choice.

I'm in an office of 30. All but one of us have refused to fill them in. We feel that it will make a stronger point as to how we feel we are treated and the fact that nothing gets done when we do fill them in.
Our main reason for feeling like we have been treated so poorly is the fact that we first read about our office was closing and merging with another.....in the local paper! Royal mail didn't have the decency to tell us first.....

It might be..it might not be.
If the serial numbers run concurrently it will flag up to Ipsos/Mori that a batch of 30 have not been returned.
They in turn will contact RM and if the office can be identified questions will be asked.
It's pointless for individuals to refuse to fill them in but a whole office sticking together might make a point.
Either way i guarantee management at that office are bricking it.

Seriously doubt I'll even be given one because I'm the one with the big mouth who spoke up the last time, telling them that there was no point in filling them in because nothing ever happens (apart from that time they were bad and they sent all those managers down and got us to write post it note and stick them on a board.............straight out of management bulls*** training). I did wonder why they wanted to give me extra time off on Tuesday

Not sure how yours is being implemented but I think that this year has been my first at RM that I didn't think the DOM was taking a peek!
