3 Types Of Duty???

I was put on a float job with the Friday off this week. Went into work yesterday ( im a p/t reserve ) and the boss had given me flex which was approx 2 miles and out of the way of where my walk was, i told him i wasnt going to use my car (i only use it if it suits me not the business ) and i would do the flex and the walk on a bike, but this would mean i may have to bring some mail back as i wouldnt have time to complete my round. He then put me on another round which i did with the flex for that job. I finished 30 mins early and went back to the office to return undelivered stuff i had form in boxed. The boss approached me and made it clear he had noted id finished early. I asked him what job i would be on today and he asked me if i would be using my car or the bike, i told him i wouldnt know until i knew what job i was on but he should always assume i was on a bike and he said hed let me know when i got in. I knew what was coming and low and behold i was put on one of the worst jobs. But as i only work till my time i thought not to worry take it on the chin and get on with it. When i finished i went back and asked what job i would be on tomorrow he said that ( Thursday ) was now my day off as they had had to put me on a different duty with bag drops. I have made arrangements for Friday and told him this but again he says its because hes had to move me off my original duty ( i didnt ask him ) as i wasnt going to use my car. When i said to him apart from driving jobs surely all jobs are walking or cycling he said not nessecerally, some people use their cars and they know this but dont encourage it. Ive told him i will go in tomorrow and have my original day off but he said i have got to have tomorrow off.Ididsay to him i felt this was a form of harrassment, and i will see him tomorrow. Any advice please

So can i argue that all walks should have bag drops and in that case they had no rights changing my duty to one that as a different day off at such short notice. The reason he gave me was there where no bag drops on the jobs i was doing. Can someone please clarify also how much notice they should give me for doing this

ONLY if the delivery methods revision has taken place, and seeing as only 380 of 1500 offices have completed that - you can assume his office hasn't. TBF to the manager anyone who chopped and changed whether or not he would use his car would be on a duty which was done on a bike or walked, that way there would be no being over a barrel.

Don't be a mug and use your car full stop,if you continue to then you deserve all the s**t the screws can throw at you.
Yes you are entitled to bag drops,let them sort it out,cut off if they f**k it up and you can't complete or they can't get you out on time.
No he can't just change your day off with so little notice.

But also in 'his eyes',you are taking the piss with using your car one minute and not the next.
