Hi Guys, I have been on long term sick and just went back to work last week after four months off work so I am back at the hospital this week so they can discharge me for good, I’m on six hours this week on light duty’s my manager says I will have to make the hours up I lose by going to the hospital is this right? as it’s the same sickness that I had for four months, atos know about it. Any ideas please, he asked me to swap my day off but I need that day to pick up my daughter from school as my mum is doing something else that day and she useally picks her up..

Tell him to dock your pay if you dont want to make up the time this is what I tell mine when Ive got a hospital appt.

I go in normal time prep or sort them leave an hour before my appt to wash and change.

Theres a section in the way forward agreement ( I think its this agreement) regarding hospital appts .
