ACAS un-happy with Union??

Post by shrimpster »

Hi All,

I spoke to my manager this morning about the on going dispute. He told me that ACAS has written a letter complaining about the Union's actions during the negotiations.

Has anyone heard of this or even seen such a news article or letter??

ACAS are arbitration and conciliation - they aren't there to criticise anyone and even if they did it would mean nothing!

As usual management probably only tell half the story, they were more than likely just as unhappy with royal mail but as already stated they are only there to conciliate nothing more.

Funny , mine said it was the TUC that had written, as they were disgusted at the attitude of the union, ie not interested, off to a football match early, not turning up for arranged meetings. Looks as though it has been sent around
