Later start times

Well it's the first proper day of the later start times.

Supposed to be that is....all the panic merchants running out, only to feel embarrassed about their early return.
Talk about playing into the managers' hands.
These MUGS are coming in early in an attempt for a quick get away, whilst their times are being logged so there will be no argument when an extra load needs to be loaded onto their poor backs.
Surely there's no other job where people work so willingly for nothing?

When will you realise that the days of job and knock are gone?

20 years back the job was brilliant, though I have to add the pay was pathetic. Now all you runners have got the just rewards, no breaks, no time to talk to customers, only non stop yomping to an early grave, oops I mean early dart.

Fully agree, years ago the job was good, but why oh why do the mumptys work for nothing, make the job look like it can be done in the time, then moan they have to go faster then the speed of light to get the job done. I just enjoy the lay in and think of the days when I was at work at the unholy hour, back to sleep ahh

Yeah, if only we'd all just carried on strolling around like 'the old days' none of this would have happened. We'd still be doing 90 minute deliveries, getting Saturday premium and a nice packet of seeds at christmas.

You're living in a complete dreamworld. The company is losing money, competition is here to stay and you think workload is increasing because some people go in 20 minutes early and walk around quick.
