Georoute has us parking where double yellow lines are.
sometimes we have to skip a loop because there is nowhere to park but if it takes extra time its less letters delivered.
No good getting a ticket, Royal Mail wont thank you for finishing 5 minutes earlier

It will depend on the fine tbh,if it's some over zealous warden which happened to me RM will pay it,if you feck up then it's you.

i believe royal mail are exempt from parking fines for a period up to 15 minutes and to deliver or collect ONE ITEM ONLY.

so park and loop is a no, no.

also not cause an obstruction or park on zig zag lines for example

i thinks it is written into the royal mail charter.

i argued this when i got a ticket from a local authority warden, went back and forth from the council and they withdrew the ticket.

i cant confirm the regs but i phoned royal mail accident management and they confirmed it

Bloody annoying really,we are doing our jobs and yet we could get a ticket for doing it.
Why is it that the pretending/and or disabled can park whereever they feel like and often park where it is extremely dangerous and still seem to get away with it?
Kind of makes you want to deliberatly drive into the lazy and feckless just to make the point

The Blue Badge does not entitle you to park anywhere you like,just on yellow lines the same as Royal Mail and no-one is allowed to park in an extremely dangerous place so i don't really see your point.
If you mean traffic wardens ignore abuse of the system then blame/drive into them.

never had any probs with parking apart from in a hire van at xmas emptying a sub in town, cant park outside it zig zags so down the road between zigs n a major bustop theres double yellows, had a very arogant polis man on foot patrpl tell me i had 11 mins and no more lol, blue badge brigade i feel for them but dont get me started, horific at parking and always park in loading bays in town aswell
