It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

if there's a couple of hours work in there then fair enough BUT if its anywhere close to 6-8hrs work then thats not only crazy but worrying for the future too!

I went in and worked on Sunday, it was like being ????? by rm but I only work part time and need the money. Would I do again hell yeah it's easy money and saves me pounding the streets in crap weather.

I have no issue with PTers making up hours (though given the amount of hours some do,why aren't the union questioning their PT status?)
however this was all FT staff.
some who get at least 2 hours a day during the working week.

I misunderstood the title of this thread, I assumed it was refering to all the letters that we still have to IPS... 'cos they cant be arsed running them through the Walk Sequencing machines at the MC.
