Day off this week is easter monday?

I'm the holiday cover in my small office. The person I will be covering this week has their day off every monday.
I would, however, like to do a 4 day shortened week like everyone else! Do I HAVE to work every working day, tuesday - saturday, this week?

I understand that if this was my constant duty, I would just get the bank holidays as days in lieu and I would probably be offered this if i ask a manager. But I really would like a normal day off like everyone else this week. Am i entitled to it? :)

Day in lieu - and if anything like my office they'll try and force you to have it at their convenience, not when you actually want it!

it's disscrimination if the option of a day off isn't given to you , you do not have to have it as a lieu day but it's a fight, you can win but you need deep resolve to do it and dont give in been there done it
