over 50's pay protection

had 2 members pay protection stopped after 2 years even though they had done the relevant duty over 3 years. told that final year goe's into their pension. is this correct? seems a poor deal when over 50's used to get pay protection in perpetuity.

mtsf. they got mgv allowance protection, but wages told them the final third would go into their pension. i had a look at the new mtsf agreement and it seems to corroborate this. it just seems a bit harsh.

I READ the mtsf 2 agreement in the branch office. area reps ect got training on it. i think it came in a couple of years ago.

That's how I read it "will be paid in the final month" am not big on pensions but that protects higher final salary yes ?

Does anybody know that if you work in a mail centre on permanent nights and drive a 600 and are OVER 50 and that mail centre closes.
You are are offered a delivery in a delivery office,Do you keep all of your allowances ie Night shift and driving allowance does this come under the MTSF agreement.

if your a pro driver you will keep this pay scale as it is a grade. if in the future they offer you another pro driver duty and you turn it down then you lose the grade money. you will recieve 2 years pay protection for your night allowance, and 1 year as a lump to inhance your pension before you take it.
