Summer savings, walk sequencing revision and our £800

We have walk sequencing machines and still haven't had our £600 and £200 for installation etc

Now this has been dragging on and on

Now Dom has proposed some summer savings which his boss has dropped on him

This was then presented to the staff

Which went down like a shitstorm

Now I agree with some of his proposals but many don't and I must rep the majority

Anyway Dom said if this goes to stage 1 disagreement we can kiss goodbye to our £800

He said this wasn't a threat merely reality of what the area manager will say

What do I do!?

Go to disagreement if you need to.
Under the terms of the BT2010 agreement you are entitled to £1000 (pro rata) in Transformation Lump Sums.
Your DOM and the Area Manager can threaten what they like.
You are still entitled to £1000 in Transformation Lump Sums.
You might not like what you have to do to get them, but you can't not get them.

You are not entitled to any payment for simply getting CSS in your office and having sequenced mail. The payment is for carring out a revision. Have you actually had a delivery methods/walk sequencing revision? Going to disagreement will most likely delay the payment of any lumps sums as they do like to drag them out. We went to stage 3 disagreement over revision but got them money eventually, it took 8 months from the implementation of the revision though.

It's not just wrong it's extremely short-sighted and dangerous.
If you pull all of the savings out of indoor hours pre-revision while your delivery span is still set at 3hrs30mins where will the scope be for increasing spans for a delivery methods revision?
This will impact on your members aspirations for attendance patterns and full-time working.
Chances are he's going to have to go back to the DSM and RFD begging for hours just to make a failing revision work.
It would be funny...if it wasn't your office he was about to destroy.
If i were you i would do everything i could to stop any pre-revision savings.

We have 10 hour days
9 day fortnights and 5 day weeks

Summer absobtion has been propopsed for my D.O as well due to DSM insisting that all his DOMS produce a summer abbsobtion plan.

Not going down well with the troops with some cop out answers given as to why they cant do the job properly (manager will hassle me) more likely its J and F reduction that bothers them!!!

Plenty say if done propely the job has no scope for absobtion but refuse to do the job properley.
