We have to put Fridays (or Mondays next week) in through the week so they all get delivered - they usually leave it up to us to put this extra in, probably because it involves extra time that doesn't exist, so they give the instruction and disappear!

Given there are 5 working days this week and next, at my depot we are expected to take out 1/5 per day, instead of 1/6 each day on a standard 6-day week.

Which means more prep time; probable higher call rate during the first half of the week along with bigger and heavier letter bundles; which means increased odds of cut-offs or o/t.

Funny cos my gaffer told me to go by the sheet they gave me so I did which meant fridays didn't get done and because I was off Saturday I didn't give a s**t lol

So cos its a bank holiday we have to double up the d2d and take 2 lots on the tuesday. Totally c*ap this , the d2d customers who pay for the service want telling that if it's a shorter week then they only go 4 or 5 days and some customers will not get one. We are not robots. Like the polling cards that had to all go in one day causing cutoffs , when will the managers have sense??

Same here, last week was a nightmare. One of the DtoD's was a classic, the dreaded free pen. There are now 1000's of, how can i put it, 'extras' in the corner of the office. What will management do? Nothing. Honestly, over the years management have become more and more inept. And this week......NONE!

Ive done 1/5th this week, on a 200 call delivery the difference isnt anything to worry about.
