suspended for losing a special

a bloke in our office lost a special and they have suspended him what happened to issuing the warnings? dont these apply anymore

If the customer is denying receiving it which they must be otherwise it isn't "missing" then that's still...lost.

I'm not disagreeing with you arrogant one.
It now seems to be normal to suspend anyone for anything in RM.
Luckily it wouldn't and doesn't happen in our D.O.
The last person suspended in my D.O. was a manager.
All i'm saying is lost is lost,whether you shoved it through the wrong door or dropped it on the street it's still lost and how it got lost is unlikely to have much bearing on the case unless you were saving children from a burning fire when it dropped out of your bag.

Why, everybody can make that mistake. It's a mistake and should be dealt with via the conduct code and not using suspension. Sad times when the managers can get away with abusing their powers and the union don't step in argue the point.

I thought I had lost a special recently and immediately informed my DIM. I was suspended from my walk whilst they investigated the matter further. Turns out I was never given the damn thing in the first place, the reg cage had sent it to the front desk instead thinking it had been 739ed. Ultimately I put myself in that position because I was given a large bundle of specials and didn't check them all. Still many thought it was harsh to be suspended from my walk in such a way. Personally I was quite pleased as it was a damn cold, miserable day outside and I got to spend the day indoors in the warm!
