unpayed overtime
can a manager make you go over your time because at our office we have to absorb a walk because 8 people have finished and not been replaced and on heavy days we are told if we go over we do not get payed overtime and we are not allowed to leave bags in

No, any OT is to be paid, failure to do that is unlawful withholding of wages. Your union rep or area rep will be able to fight this, just make sure you right everything down from now on and let the manager know this.

The only person who makes you do overtime is yourself. No pay, no overtime. Let them suspend you if they want to. They wont, because they know they are only trying it on.

I thought the IWT was a planning tool not a predictive tool. Lapsing should be based on predicated and actual traffic levels for the office and duty - I thought. If so IWT has no bearing.haddie wrote:using IWT if traffic too heavy duty cannot be lapsed
