.He has a very hyper and playful nature and always follows me around but very well trained and will follow through a command without any buts. We started out going on walks that lasted 3-4 hours and later added a back pack for me. By the time we get to the end , he is still running circles around me and almost sniggering at my efforts as sweat drips are on my forehead lol 
. I would carry a back pack filled with sugar and flour weighing around 15-20kgs. So I decided to get him a back pack too to make himself useful. He stands still willing me to fill it with our lunch, water and his snacks. He weighs 120lbs of pure muscle, so 10% of his body weight should be safe to carry. Now I have the last laugh when he gets home and hits the sack. :P 
This got me thinking, wouldn't it be fun to have him come on the rounds with me. Perhaps carry some of the mail. lol...I don't know. Added security would be great so I won't be mugged for my items. I just thought it would really keep him busy during the day since he is a working breed. No one is home in the morning and early afternoon except me since I'm not in school or working right now. So when I start he'll be alone. :(
I've done some basic research and found companies such as google and amazon among other office based who adopted dog policy allowing their employees to bring their pets (dogs) to join the work force in the office. They claim it improves the working relationships between co-workers and the atmosphere in general which improves quality of their work, increased working hours and hence more profits to be made. Also, they benefit from free insurance for their pets (too lazy to look into detail :P). Dogs get much needed socialisation with both humans and other pets during lunch or in between if they fancied it. So it is, for them, a win win situation. Of course they have certain rules to stick to such as leash on when dog is away from cubical, clean after your dog and they must be up to date when it comes to their vaccination papers. Dogs must be well mannered and well trained. Nothing you wouldn't be already doing for your pet if you are a responsible owner. Dog allergic co - workers would be taken into consideration before the pets were allowed in.

Maybe a little too excited since it will be my second one. The first didn't leave much to be desired. I think your pets will love it if the breed needs alot of exercise both mentally and physically. Tell me what you think, I definitely know what I think.
