Does this mean that those who have already embraced the revision either successfully or not, and gone down to 39 hrs will receive a 3.5% on those hours whereas someone who has not had the pleasure yet is only going to get 3.5% on 40 hours and at the current rate of revisions it could be years before the pay rate is equalised .................or am I wrong.

The 3.5% pay rise applies equally to all full-timers since we have the same take home pay however part-timers in an office that has moved to 39hrs are already on a higher hourly rate than those that haven't so yes they will gain more until everybody is on the same hours.

Well it will be the same take home pay but for 39 hours and 40 hours respectively, therefore one group gets to work an hour less for the same money or alternatively someone gets the pleasure of an extra hour working for a wonderful company
