There have been quite a few pairings that dont get on in our office due to some being runners and some walk, others wanting meal relief and the other not, some coming in early and some come in at their proper start time.
We even have pairs that aren't a pair anymore and now have a van EACH
It used to be so easy when you had your own walk and you could go any speed you liked depending on what mood you was in.
You could have a chat with someone you were delivering to and you didnt need a bloody mobile.
Why does everything have to be so complicated now and everything has to be done at 100mph.
I start on time, I finish on time and I take my full meal relief. If I'm paired up with a walker who wants to rush, rush, rush, tough s**t, I'm the driver and I will do the job by the book, trolley an all

so whats the answer the other way round when the driver works at 100mph and carries his bag. and even starts to deliver his next loop while your dead walking back from yours then later on that loop see him driving away to do packets and returning some 25 mins later when he probably had 4 packets to deliver .then on another loop sit and wait for you to finish your loop [drivers shorter both in distance and calls] so basically the only rest / break you get is the 2 mins driving between each loop if the van has to be moved and knowing hes probably made a start on his loop well before you start ,in 6 months of park and loop hes used the trolley once and im not sure if he used it or it was just to look at it
I come in on time, prep d2d before the letters, take a break and do not rush. Normally iam one of the last back

If hes in such a rush he could always do your loops for you, the flyers will never learn

Who you're working with was always going to be the big thing with P&L, there is a lot of complaining in my office about it.
Before my proper partner started with me I had a nightmare with the retards I was paired up with. One guy took 2hrs 45 minutes to do 2 loops that take no more than 40 mins each, another took 1hr 50 mins to do one loop with 3 bundles in it, a quarter of a walk on a Tuesday (i'm not kidding).
So it works both ways, i'd rather be paired with someone that runs round rather than someone that should have been sacked long ago for being useless at their job. Luckily long term I have neither, I picked to work with a mate and we work the loops perfectly.
