I dont drive so effectively my seniority goes out the window.

Not if you don't agree to it.
Unless they have a national agreement that states that is the way it is to be done, it would be down to local agreement.

Cant see a problem with having 2 part timers in p and l. Just guessing that both rounds would be pre-prepped by full timers though before you come in.

thats what i suggested to our manager and guess what it didn't happen.your seniority will go, it will be one full timer prepping both walks doing the driving .delivering all the packets.being responsible for van checks.we have a part timer with 6months in and she has her own duty and we have full timers with 11 years in who don't

Seniority is a thing of the past. I got screwed for full time because I couldn't drive apparently we haven't got the skills to do the job. Even though I'm expected to extend every day because of these half arsed revisions. f**k that I start on my time and finish at 3. Royal mail is ruined. Privatisation is just round the corner.

same as me matey!!....well stitched up coz i dont drive!... 4 walks left and 4 sections left but coz i don't drive been told im going back to a being a 'reserve' (what i was doing 8 years ago!!)...thanx

What use is a non-driving reserve after park&loop?

theres a few in our office, they are shoved from pillar to post, covering any non drivers duty when theres sick/annual leave etc. doing handbacks, covering non driving floaters.
