I dont get this . Is your Dom making you take overtime out as absorption ? Or r you just taking it and not getting paid for ot ? Or r u coming back early and then your having to take it out . ?

and non payment is illegal withholding of wages.

I dont get this . Is your Dom making you take overtime out as absorption ? Or r you just taking it and not getting paid for ot ? Or r u coming back early and then your having to take it out . ?

Our office has now not been paying overtime for extended delivery since October. We can no longer "cut off" as they are not paying anyone overtime to deliver returned mail. neither are we being allowed to Leave bags in for the DOM to deal with. We are being forced to take all the mail even though we know and the DOM's know it will take us into extended delivery. They have coined a Phrase "Commit to Deliver" Basically meaning we have to deliver everything we take out and we are not paid for it. Two lads were out on delivery until 4:45 on Wednesday! If we return any mail we are threatened with the conduct code / dismissal for willful delay.

If you don't have a rep get one quickly and get onto your area rep.
If you do have a rep....get rid and get a new one.

Of course you can cut off. The undelivered mail is the DOMs problem, not yours. Where is your union rep / area rep in all of this ???

dont let the scum intimidate you into working for their bonuses. get a few likeminded souls together and start standing up for yourselves, be each other witnesses, stick to your guns and get the union on board. seems like you need to go over the reps head and rattle the big lads' cage if this has been going on so long. are the dom and linos all cage fighting nazis or something?

its ok saying do this and do that but we had 1 lad suspended for cutting off and bringing mail back and yes he did tell them before he went out , now everybody is weary about doing anything , so its not what you should be saying or doing, and you never get time back if you go over but isnt that banking hours which wasnt agreed, the office and area union rep we havent seen him in over a year hes sorting p&l out in other offices but ours isnt finished yet , but as long as we collaspe mon,tues and sat which he also agreed to , come cwu protect your members and grow some b**ls you agreed to this.

I'm awaiting the crap in our office come the middle of April when P&L comes in, I'll work the overtime if offered within reason, but I'll be at the mercy of my partner. Too many chiefs not enough Indians oh didn't you know the mail is down thats creative accountancy for you and bullying and harrassment are alive and well. The Union is in RM pocket agreeing to daft measures for the sake of keeping jobs that the management are cooking figures for as well
