hi,,,over the last few years our office has had a few attemps at a revision and each time,,,wether it be the last shambles `pegasus` or no time cos of christmas theyve cancelled,,,till now.
seems this time were going to have a revision sometime later summer,,,,,they say it should be in inside the next 6 months,,,,weve had a few meetings,,,had the planner asking us to trust him (LOL)
we have somewere between 40 and 50 duties now as it stands,,,,most of these duties take us over 3 hrs to complete,,,,,they tell us they want,,,and its been agreed by the area rep that we`ll have 25 % of the revised walks given to part time staff.
weve asked the question but the answers go vague,,,,questions such as if p/time staff get walks or P & L what happens to the full timers without duites,,,,the bosses skirt round the subject,,,as in they dont know how the revision will work out.
Has anybody on here had experiance were your office looses a few duties,,,,has spare men now? what happens,,,,,,if i end up spare (only got about 6 yrs in) do i report to my office in a morning and its up to the RM to get me to an office that needs cover or alike.
I ask because there are alot of men senior to me so i dont expect enough full time walks so hence planning on being spare.

ok,,,but at a recent meeting with office rep,,,and his deputy they told us that the 25% had been agreed with the area rep,,,we then based it on 40 duties,,,,30 full,,,10 part time,,,we have about 35 fulltime staff......so i asked the above,,,,i`m in that remaining 5

If you were to loose your duty after the revision you will be on reserve. Ideally covering sick/annual leave. Vacant duties should be awarded by way of seniority.
