Can anyone tell me where I could find a list of the duties a WPC should be caring out? We have one at our depot and she refuses to do anything other than train new entrants and all she does is make them prep her frame whilst she drinks coffee and chats all morning, then she takes out half her walk and leaves the new entrant the other half to do!!
I was wondering what other duties a WPC might have to carryout such as equipment training i.e. HCT, LWT and PDA, and what about Manual handling and other H&S training?

I don't have one at all. :o( wpc for my duty has left, so nobody at all train me.

We got two. One because she thinks she's worth it ,the other,dunno. Neither earn the dough but it seems to suit management

It's definitely disappointing the training isn't being carried out, the last entrant complained to me saying on day 2 he delivered all the letters and small packets whilst the coach delivered just the large packets from the CDV which was seen parked up allot of the timekrussel wrote:Welcome Almighty

Well i guess it's up to the DOM at the end of the day to put their foot down, just thought it was a shame for the new entrants as we all know how difficult the job was when we first started.
