annual leave docket

Received new annual leave docket 2012 -2013 and it states 23 days basic entitlement. I thought it went 22.5 days and then up to 23.5 days.

Dim said " oh they must have rounded it up "

You don't get something for nothing, whats going on? any ideas?

I expect you took 22 days this year, leaving half a day outstanding which has been added to next years ie 22.5 + 0.5 = 23 days.

just under 5 years completed service and Dim says nothing has been carried over yet. Said lieu days etc will be added on after end of March.

That is why then. At 5 years service you get an extra days leave, because you reach 5 years part way through this leave year you have been given an extra half day.
