Pay Rate on wage slip advice needed

I have been approached to answer a question and before I start ringing H/R I thought I'd put it out here ... Please only reply if you know the correct answer ... Wage slip dated 27/01/12 (old style wage slip) pay rate at the top right = £367.63 now on new style wage slip 09/03/2012 pay rate = £359.52 ... Why has the pay rate on wage slip gone down ? If you add the Processing supplement the pay rates match up ( on new pay slip but was in receipt of PS before) like I said I can't answer so hopefully someone will be able to on here
The net pay is the same which counts but would like to answer question ?

The new payslip is constructed differently on the new system. Some payments/deductions are now categorised differently so will appear differently on the new payslip. In theory it should be more transparent now. This is why people are also seeing POAL on the new payslips now.
