OPEN LETTER TO N.E.C. MEMBERS
WITH the ongoing situation in the N.I. NO 1 BRANCH i am asking the people who are charged with making the decision to desolve the said branch and sack the branch officers, with the effect of leaving the members with no input into the affairs of the running of the branch, how you came to make that decision. I am not an elected rep to the branch but have been a member of this union for 20years, and for the first time i have been left with the feeling that i and the rest of the members have been very let down by the actions of the N.E.C. WHY did you come to your decision, WHAT where you told was going on in the branch, WHY was no one from the branch allowed to attend the meeting when you made the decision to desolve the branch. THERE are more questions i could ask but i dont think this is the right forum to do this. I DONT know if any N.E.C. members are on this site, but if not IF THERE ARE ANY DIV REPS, BRANCH SEC, OR ANY TRUE TRADE UNIONISTS, reading this and THINK there is something wrong with the way the members in N.I.NO 1 BRANCH HAVE BEEN TREATED, START ASKING QUESTIONS, REMEMBER YOU COULD BE NEXT. UNITY IS STRENGHT

Sure if it does not affect me who cares?
I have been just told today from a colleague that the Blue-Eye boy of the N.Ireland No1 Branch and Billy Hayes best mate who of course did"nt make it on the NEC this year Pat O Hara (Larger) was told about him appearing on this site and people giving there opions about him,his reply was- SO WHAT- WHAT OUR THEY GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? So remember this the next time you our casting your VOTE when you see his name!
As for my comrade asking questions about the NEC shame on you, some of you hang your heads in shame if in
deed you do read members views on this site or you pose as a trade unionist on this site. You the NEC declare yourselfs as the sovreign body of this union for who, a piece of advice or instead of taking pieces of silver, always ask questions and for the proof before making decisions, dont beleive all that you here or read no matter who they our within this union? Here we are in the biggest dispute this union faces or has ever seen, yet did you even think what you actions would do to over 2500 members in this Branch the N.Ireland No1. When they fine out the real truth hope you our all as eager to explain the reason why you have let them down.Do the right thing NOW and give this Branch+Members back its Dignity and Respect after all they stood solid for 18days shoulder to shoulder in the name of the CWU, but its easy to forget that isnt it.
I am not saying all the NEC our to blame because there are true, honest, fighting true trade unionist on that panel who help members, but to you"s who did cast your vote and let this Branch down,the members will fine out who you our ?
STAND UP AND BE COUNTED AND REDEEM YOURSELFS, My comrade is right to all DIV-REPS BRANCH SECRETRYS MEMBERS who read this ask the questions that the NEC should have asked and the proof, only then the truth will win!
