day 1 of revision

Just got to my frame and already can see a mistake, the loops we are supposed to be doing are wrong plus side I have been prepped in. They musnt want this to fail. Still no training either hope I don't have a accident on delivery

Had to completely redo my frame when we had our revision the planners had really cocked it up!

My frame still is'nt set up correctly after 8 months. Some of my driver loops are longer than the walkers so I don't get time to drive around and get rid of some of the large packets.

These revisions are really throwing some crap up.. But really , if you rush around now in the early stages trying to make it work, you will be rushing around the rest of your working life....and it wont be a long one. Just take it easy, dont get stressed out... if you could do your walk last week before the revision and now you find out you cant after the revision , then whos faults that ???? it certainly aint the posties.... so dont fret....it aint your problem. Again just work your normal hours, and remember, more indoor work = less outdoor work..

Well the loops were totally wrong. Was dead walking half the time and doing bits of streets then going into other streets and oh guess what because of that we couldn't finish our round in time. 2 bags we took back to office. Then the manager told me I had to go back out and finish it. Safe to say I politely refused. And a grievance will be going in. He basically tried to bully me into doing it . #w****r

Did you not get shown the loops before hand to spot and correct problems?

And it's puzzling that problems are not sorted out asap, surely the less problems the less chance of failing (I know, still a good chance, but perhaps not as much failing..)

Never got consulted on the loops, some of them are mind boggling, have to sit down with planners and go through it all because the loops are totally wrong. Going to be handing stuff back again today. Glad me and my driver are on the same page. We don't want to go past our time.

Me and the driver were basically thrown out the door and told " your out early you should be able to complete" it was 11 o'clock. We didn't use trolleys used bags on our backs just to prove a point. We done them but only just. So when we got back to office we told them we were under pressure to get it done and didn't use the lwt. He said we have to use them so let the hand backs commence. I'm seeing the planners tomorrow but my driver is off. So I can do my loops properly but I can't do my drivers. why didn't they consult us in the first place?

If your revision was done properly then they would have. Which begs the question, if the proper revison process has not been followed why did your office agree to the revison?

It's cos the dom is a Dick and the union rep hasn't got a clue. And the planners ? Don't get me started ffs my 3 year old could've drawn better loops.

They started to consult people but then because it was taking so much time they stopped doing it. Some of our hct turns are out until 8pm. Me and my driver got one delivery done yesterday. Had to take the 2nd one back to office. They haven't took into consideration how long it takes to do the deliverys with a trolley.

You can have 30 packets on your round on a Monday or Saturday and 100 packets on Wed, Thurs and Fri and expect you to finish the same time
