I just don't get it

People come in early, people don't take meal relief, people work over for no extra pay, people pay other staff members to deliver some mail so they can
finnish early. This Job and go culture is rife in RM Nationally and the SDD was the biggest mistake ever made by the CWU. No matter what is agreed
with the CWU and RM now will never work because the carrott of job and go is till being used to corrupt and abuse the work force. I think that the CWU nationally has to sort this out once and for all and stop the rot before we are destroyed.

Yeah,you're right.

I was having a,shall we say, 'discussion' with a colleague the other day.

He's a full timer with over 20yrs service & was basically telling me how another colleague of our's wouldn't work with somebody else on P&L as they considered this person to be too slow at the job & how he though the fella complaining was in the right!

I tried explaining to him that whilst he & his little crew of early finisher's thought that they were being really smart,it was costing his co-worker's full-time contract's & inevitably in the end it was going to lead to walk's being taken out & more lapsing enforced on everyone,including the Golden Boy's.

I actually asked him what he would do if he was the DOM & continually saw people finishing a good hour,sometimes more before their time,would he ignore it or would he act,thus boosting his bonus,he replied,with a straight face that he wouldn't do anything,just give the fast worker's a 'pat on the back'.

He wasn't on the wind-up either,we're doomed,the job's f*****!
