Abuse from fellow workers

Do anybody else on here get constant abuse from fellow workers cause u cut off, all I get is " your taking the piss" "your lucky you got a job" "oh you are shafting somebody else again" it's really starting to get me stressed and really does make me feel uneasy about going into work, it's so hard working in a office where u one of the only ones what do stuff how it's meant to be done,and I feel management might have a go at me.

Ignore it, if you're not taking the piss then they're just jealous that they're working harder for the same money as you. They tried the same with me but all I ever said to them was that they could do mine and I'll do theirs.............easily shuts them up.

They are taking the piss.
They are putting jobs at risk by cutting corners.
They are shafting their colleagues by increasing the scope for lapsing and savings.
They are too stupid to realise.

Prats are shafting themselves and believe that by appearing to be totally flexible will save them when the big cull comes. They will be sh t on just as much as people who work to contract

Happens here too. Many personalities to deal with on every work floor and sometimes things are just too stressful. We understand that supervisors are charged and pressed to do things that they may not want to do. Example of this is they were tasked with questioning all overtime in our section. As a relief carrier I was exposed to various styles of supervision, where one would dress up one side of you and down the other, an other would merely come over and ask. Having a supervisor who would say your right the volumes yesterday were quite high and thanks for keeping it done so low made me want to work harder and even eat some overtime but the one who called you lazy and instructed you to break the rules in order to make himself feel important, well lets just say that every rule was followed and every minute of overtime was claimed.

Because its easier to be a sheep and do what everyone else does than to do whats right.

Why would they be abusive?

If our office is anything to go by, those that cut-off are eagerly sought out by the docket monkeys.

"Cutting off today? Great! I'll do such-and-such a street."

Got them at my office aswell though they are beginning to burn themselves out now, not so many in the afternoon wanting docket.

the whole office must be a bit of imagination i bring back mail nearly every wed thu fri and no one gives a monkeys

Well done mate, you know you are right, shame on your so called workmates
I raise awkward questions to the DIm and I see my 'colleagues' turning their backs on me and walking away so it looks like I'm the only one 'making a fuss'

The peer pressure aka sniping is one of the other reasons I took IHR instead of going back on amended duties. After my AOD in 2008, some of my colleagues were less than supportive, and that was with an injury they could see. Whilst off sick worrying that I might have a brain tumour or aneurysm, I didn't want to be put under further stress from insensitive remarks like "you look well enough to me" etc., something I still get now despite being in pain (in varying degrees of severity) every single day.

I wish I could pass on this pain to the next person that says it, just for one day would be enough, so they could understand.

Straightfwd and Storm. Who dishes out the overtime when you cut off then. Do lino organise this or is it just a case of first come first serve for the docket grabbers.
