So....what would you do ?

Post by fng »

I deliver to number 41 and the next one is for number 37. :dance

All the front "gardens" are open plan and concreted.

I go accross in front of number 39 (not in a "runner" stylie short cut way) it's just the natural route.

Ooooops number 39 has had their bit of concrete redone !!!!! :d'oh!

2 size 11 foot prints later and a quick look round :nervous and i'm gone :shhhhh

I really do feel bad, but their was no signs or barriers.

Should I of knocked and fessed up ?

If they ask me I wont lie, ill go down the path (no pun intended) of there being no notice to advise of the wet cement.

:Very Happy Not your fault! I wne up one well known path one early dark morning, only to find (by falling flat on my face!) that not only had they had the path redone, but they had added two steps! (facing down the way!--just tell your customers you nearly broke your neck and thet should have had warning signs up!

I deliver to a VERY expensive apartment block with oak flooring and a plush strip of red carpet down the middle,it has an L shape hallway with a block of american style postboxes at the end. One day last year I'd delivered to the postboxes and was returning down the hallway when I noticed massive white gloss paint footprints all along the red carpet, my thought process went exactly like this " what twats done that, bloody hell he's got massive feet!! F**K there mine (I'm a 14")   :whistle "
I then realised they now had a second set walking out the block, through the private car park to the front gate where upon I came across the upturned tin of paint I'd missed on the way in whilst reading the letters.
Was amazed I never got spoken to about it and they never worked out it was me.

I went back the next day (sat) but changed the walk round so that i could get to that street early before anyone was awake to collar me. My size 11's had been filled in..... but the paper lads size 7's were there along with his dog's prints and what looked like a cat or fox prints. :left:

I dont feel so bad now. :dance
