To be honest i have kept a low profile in the resent past but this thing piss's me off so much i must raise my head once again i for one do not agree with this bullsh!t it is as if even the management of royalmail have so fallen upon their own sword and agreed to do away with their own job's!. It is nothing more than self management we are told constantly we MUST SIGN THE SHEET if not we are questioned the very next day as to why not. This place of work has now become a place of servitude how can an employer treat staff in a way that is nothing short of slavery in this day and age and can an employer make any of it's staff sign anything they do not agree with our union say's no but many do sign just to not rock the boat!. And if they do sign what is the BLUE BOOK is this the highway to hell for all of us it may be under a different name in your office but you sign for everything that you wear the correct uinform and your frame is clear and you have licked your DOM'S ass ect ect!. WE MUST NOT DO AS THEY SAY FOR WE WILL SIGN OUR JOB'S AWAY!.

What I'd like to know is if I flatly refuse to sign for anything on the grounds that it may incriminate me how would I stand?

That's the question i asked for as to our union they said i should not sign anything i did not agree with but if you know your frame is clear how can you know if any item will in due course happen's to find it's way their after you signed!.

Our managers don't sign anything it is just a case of covering their arse's not our's think of it what you will but i do not trust them one bit it is time the CWU got on the record and written to all it's members as to the consequences of their action's!.

Our managers don't sign anything it is just a case of covering their arse's not our's think of it what you will but i do not trust them one bit it is time the CWU got on the record and written to all it's members as to the consequences of their action's!.

Ours didn't sign at first, but our rep said not to sign them unless a manager did. the next day the assistant DOM came around and signed at the same time as you. you call him over when your tied up and he checks the frame with you. so no come backs on either of you

They can give me as much as they want, and they can tell to dot as many "I"s and cross "T"s as they want, as long as they understand I won't work over and the more they give me to do the less I will complete in the time allotted.

The A4 laminate is on all our frames, has been for nearly a year now. No one has ever signed anything and a lot of the laminates, mine included, have just come off. As for the stool on the frame, ridiculous.
