Holiday or not?

Hi Guys, I am on long term sick now just a operation and another one to come soon but something is bugging me I have booked a holiday last June to Tenerife in April but I’m still going to be on the sick in April, my manager tells me if I go its fraud and will face disciplinary action my other manager said take no notice you can use your holiday as Rehabilitation anyone know the score on this, when I booked it I never thought I would be under going two operations.

The second Manager saying "your holiday as Rehabilitation" is correct but you'd be better if you got a letter from your Doc saying so then your totally covered.

"There is nothing in law to prevent you from going away on holiday while you are certified sick from your employment. However, you cannot assume that the employer may not be justified in taking you to task about this if the nature of the holiday, or the activities engaged in while you are away, are incompatible with the stated reason for being unfit for work."
