Can my daily hours be changed?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if my hours can be changed from 30 hours a week, 6 hours a day 5 days a week to 7 and a half hours a day 4 days a week against my will.

they can do anything

If your contract of employment states the hours you work this cannot be changed,(either increase or decrease).However any attempt to change your hours or alter holiday entitlement (as examples of significant changes), should not be done without proper consideration as this is a change to your contract and you may reject the proposed change.

can they change you from mornings to evenings? i.e. from postman to collecting????

On on a voluntary basis. They can change your duty but not your start and finish times.
