revision payment (£600) and staff leaving
what is the sinario on the revision payment of £600 being signed off and then staff leaving
say the payment was signed off on the 1st feb and the staff member left on the 10th feb
would that staff member be entitled to the £600 in that the staff member was employed at the signing off but resigned before the payment was made
if it is permitted some links would be nice to confirm

Eligible employees must have been in post on XXXX/2012 and remain in post on the date of the payment.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I think they need to be in post on the date the revision is deployed rather than signed off. We had staff who left before the payment was made but were there when the revision was deployed and they got the money. We did have about an 8 month delay between deployment and payment though

Re: revision payment (£600) and staff leaving
I think the agreement and indeed pay directive indicates that the payment is for people working in the new transformed business after the revison is introduced , so those who may be serving their notice on VR do not qualify. If this indivudual had given Royal Mail notice then he may not stand to qualify for the lump sum. There have been lots of issues over this issue recently.

What about the 30 minute reduction in the working week.Is that due from the date it was signed off,or at the MCM discretion?
same as it ever was...

The 30 minute reduction is calculated on when the mail centre achieved the 50% walk sequencing criteria and not on the whim of the MCM.

Re: revision payment (£600) and staff leaving
Keith, in my experience this sort of thing is sorted out at the Concurrance meeting (sign off ) the date, amount to be paid and what kind of revision they are paying for etc... also if there are any retiree's due and also if you have had any transferees who may have already been paid out at their previous place of work. On the agreed date of payment All employee's in that unit will be paid accordingly, hope this helpskeithposty wrote:what is the sinario on the revision payment of £600 being signed off and then staff leaving

Re: revision payment (£600) and staff leaving
If you look at the Business Transformation agreement annex c and the processing section titled shorter working week it states that the 30 minutes credit is given once the mail centre has hit walk sequencing to 50% of its catchment area.
