As a rep are you entitled to attend a course on how georoute works etc, the same i presume that the planners have been on, or are you expected to stand behind the planner and look like you know whats going on? Sure in the BT2010 agreement it states joint training on relevant parts of the agreement which i would guess includes the georoute part of it.

Just done a search,from a post from 2008...

Most Area Reps have now had / are about to have the georoute training so they should be passing this knowledge onto the local reps and offices.

All reps should request and insist that they get the 2-day CWU Geo-route training (if you have not received any) prior to discussing any future revision or ensure you are giving joint training if this is available within the proposed National agreement.
