Stress to knee

Our DO is mainly van rural duties and the excessive getting in and out of the van has caused stress on the right knee. I presume this is common in the RM does anyone have tips that can help combat this? Or should i see a doctor?

We had a few complain about this when they had to swap from the mini Transit vans to a Combo as it was lower. I did not find it a problem myself.

Yes, the low seats of the Vauxhall Combos are terrible for this. :sad:
Five years on a rural duty in one and you'll have to put your name down for a knee replacement. :sad:

One guy bought this padded turntable thing which helped him get out :shock: It looked a bit weird but he reconed it helped his back with the twisting.

From a back health point of view, which would help the knee, you should turn your body so that your legs are both out of the door before getting out the vehicle. This way, you're not twisting your back and you're using both legs for your weight at the right angle. Obviously, this may take marginally longer than the traditional method, but it's your health, so it's up to you :neutral:
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
