Ours were put into walk logs just before p&l came in,being a reserve i find them very useful since start times and amount of IPS differs with each walk.

Never get this,of course you should have 318's,it's part of the revision process.

Our P318s have disappeared from the floor we are told flexibility is the driving force now

come in and hide in a corner (for best effect the canteen), and when you get caught, if they try to give you into trouble, simply say, "my 318 doesn't tell me what to do, so I assumed that I was only to make myself available at the office".

Obviously they'll mump and moan, but politely remind them that you are still due a meal relief because the time spent in 'period of availability' counts as working time, not rest.

You'll have 318's by the end of the week.

whats a 318 can you imagine a new 318 7 am on the inward sorting 9am through in your walk 915am on the lapsing absorbing 930am your break 1010 am out on delivery

318s have now been superceeded by the WPQs, walk logs, work plan and WRAP stuff haven't they. But basically they are the same as a 318 as they describe what happens during the working day, they go into as much detail as a 318 did, perhaps even more, just that they are no longer centralised into 1 document.

So calling it all a 318 is far easier than listing all the relevant documents.
