Pretty straight forward for 39/40 hour staff, but what about less than full timers
Do you add hours to their aggregate after
25 hours for 25 hour contracts
30 hours for 30 hour contracts
32 hours for 32 hour contracts etc.
Or
39/40 hours in line with full timers.

Re: OT Aggregate System
My understanding of the Aggregate System for less than full time is you start counting after their conditioned hours.goona wrote:Pretty straight forward for 39/40 hour staff, but what about less than full timers

Re: OT Aggregate System
It's pretty straightforward, is it not ?
You start counting any hours over and above a part-timer's conditioned hours. If you didn't, someone on a 25 hour contract would otherwise be able to do 14-15 hours overtime per week and still be shown as zero on the aggregate. Meaning any full-timer who did as little 1hr of overtime would then be above them on the aggy system

Not so straightfoward to me, as in Royal Mail overtime is recognised as any extra hours over 39/40.
In your example Wandle is it fair that someone is able to work 54-55 hours and the other person 39-40?
The clue is in the title.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Thanks Postman, that's good to know.POSTMAN wrote: Yes it does, what part though are you looking into?
"17.13 Overtime aggregate (to include overtime, Scheduled Attendance and weekend overtime) to be run to a
common method."
Also Part-timers have been told that they are unable to sign for scheduled attendances as it would put them on a six
day week even though at present the majority of full timers do.
Double standards don't you think?
