I have been off sick with COPD ( long term lung disease) and i came back to work on light duties ( locker phg) and have stayed indoors for 3 months now. Im due to be refered back to atos soon.Im not going to get any better or get worse ,
When we have a re pick in our office what happens to people like me who cant work doing a delivery or constantly in and out of a van? I have 15 years service but its probably not enough to pick an indoor duty.

If you have a long term condition that is covered by the Equality Act ( and I'm not a doctor but it seems like COPD should be covered) an appropriate duty should be made for you and this should be ringfenced in any repick.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Thants what Rep is saying but its all kicked off as the more senior guys have waited years for the locker duty and now they cant have a chance of having it!

You'll get a ringposted 'duty to illness pick', so you'll either stay in the locker or get something similar, it's a DDA covered condition.

You can't help having a medical condition.... as has already been said tell those moaning about it to feck off!
Biggest problem we have in the RM is that everybody thinks they are missing out on something, they can't help sticking thier noses in instead of just getting on with thier own job!
You are doing your best, many would be happy just to suck up dole money and sit on thier assses. Good luck to you for at least making an effort!
