Hi I'm new here but do part time staff get sa pay rate for doing a sa on overtime

I see no reason why not.

If you sign the SA sheet instead of the pressure sheet then you would. You do know that it is only about 30pence an hour more??? so unless you are doing mega docket then it doesn't really make any difference.

What is the rate of sa pay I thought it was £10 a hour as we only get £8 per hour

Im not 100% sure.

Full time staff hourly rate is £9.54 -- -Sa rate is £9.81

So that's nearly £2 a hour more for part time I've been told I will not get sa rate as I'm part time it don't seem fair really

I think you only get SA rate for any hours you do above FT hours. So if you are on 30 hrs you would need to do more than 9 or 10 hrs (depending on if your office has the shorter week yet) to get the SA rate.

I've done over forty hours includeing the sa duties so should I get the higher rate I just feel like I'm being made a fool of as I did not even want to do it they said they were desprate so I helped them aginst my will its a joke
