my wife has very recently lost her sister in law,she is in bits finished on time today to be at home with her to give her much needed support,will i get a days special leave for the funeral or will i have to take a days annual leave or is it the doms decision

Moved to blue shirts.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I would be very surprised if you got paid leave
we are talking about oyur wifes brothers wife
so quite a distant relative in RM terms(i know in real life thats not the case)
