Listen up guys, any postman/women in the B/WS postcode areas in the west mids beware.The ib are out patrolling to try and catch unsuspecting posties who carelessley leave their vans unattended whilst the doors are open, several cyclists have also been caught with pouches left unattended on the tray whilst they have wandered up the road delivering. Some of these people have been suspended and conduct coded, this could lead to dismissal.

Just be careful guys, make sure your vans are locked, cyclists keep your pouches on you, and no doorstepping. Theses ib guys are watching us.

Hate to admit it, but in some ways I wish the IB would come to "spy" on my depot, heads would roll at all levels I'm sure for a blatent disregard of SSOW.

Would IB also whistleblow on incorrect equipment methods, or are they strictly to adhere to security matters?

Its very easy sometimes to be distracted and you could forget to lock the door purely by accident. Cyclists tend to use the tray on their bikes to take the weight off the shoulder but get carried away while delivering. Theres no excuse for doorstepping though.

postman/women are still doing it though, they take short cuts, a bit like some of the people in our office who still carry their bags on their shoulders post revision, and use hcts as pouch boxes.
